Everyone knows that diseaseless blood was supposed to go away in 3.1. Well I am here to tell you that I think they just might have made it better. Now instead of using Oblit you use Deathsrike and get the added benefit of self healing while doing rediculous DPS.Last night I tried a 51/13/7 spec on our 10 man Naxx run to see how Blood was stacking up and to my suprise I was able to pull some pretty good DPS without any disease application. Tonight I am going to shuffle the talents around to take full advantage of a diseaseless spec and see how it goes.

I am also curious about 51/10/10 Im not sure if 10% more to deathcoils is worth the loss of Necrosis and BCB. I suspect it might be in this case because this spec is all about HS spam with DC procs.

This rotation stays the same pretty much for single target or AOE thanks to HS cleave + DC procs. The only difference is on AOE pulls to make sure to burn Corpse Explosion whenever possible.
I am not 100% sure this is actually going to hold up, but I did pull over 3k DPS overall on recount last night(10 man Naxx military wing). I am by no means the best geared DK so I consider this to be decent. I will post more after some testing.

ReplyDeleteNo, it doesn't live. Thankfully it was utterly and completely killed off by Blizzard's switch from a set amount based modifier to a percentage based one along with a decent enough buff to PS to make it viable in a rotation. Under no circumstances EVER would you actually gain DPS by using a diseaseless rotation over a disease based one. Do some serious testing of the two rotations and then come back and try to tell me diseaseless still lives (Hint: you won't.)
ReplyDeleteDid you test it yourself before you decided to come post negativity here? Did you try it with something better then titansteel destroyer? I top the DPS charts with diseasless on almost every raid I have been on since 3.1. Maybe adding a disease or 2 into the rotation could potentially raise my dps by a small margin, but that is not what my post was about. The world claims diseasless is dead and I am telling you it most certainly is not.
